Songs from the Drainpipe was a short film I made during my time at Kingston University. The production was based around creating sound and building story and character from there. It also proved to be an exercise in creation with very limited resources, and thus led to a lot of experimentation in finding interesting ways to animate without a production or crew. Much of the film was completed by cutting up filmed video into individual frames and manipulating each. It was a grueling process but allowed for complete control over everything that was on screen.
